The mornings introduces you to the first part of the Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC). This course is accredited by the UK Mindfulness Association and is experiential with an emphasis on self-practice and self-reflection

Beginning with short mindful practices and exercises we begin to learn and develop the foundations of mindfulness, self-awareness, kindness to ourselves and others, and openness to our human experience. We will learn about the habits and patterns of thinking within our minds and how to be with difficult emotions.

A follow up course, Part 2, will be offered in the new year.

The aim of this introductory morning is to:

  • Help participants experience mindfulness in a safe supportive environment.
  • Develop an ongoing personal mindfulness home practice.
  • Apply mindfulness in their daily lives.
  • Cultivate kindness and compassion for self and others.
  • Deepen understanding of the way we think, feel and react to difficult situations and to understand and practice mindful responses.
  • Develop new ways of handling challenging physical sensations, feelings, moods or experience.
Feedback from previous participant:

“Thank you so much for giving me a beautiful insight into what is achievable when putting our minds into a calm and non-judgmental place.  The course has been an inspiration, an insight into my own wellbeing and I have loved every minute.  I shall be carrying on practicing and always learning.”
